Jim (seated) works at Schafer's Sports Shop (known locally as "Schafer's Bait") near Lake Mitchell.
Close inspection of this photo will reveal a large wooden pike hanging inside the front window.
This pike was carved by Cadillac's well known fish decoy carver Jim Nelson.

The two photos above were taken inside Schafer's bait shop looking out through the front window.
The large pike by Jim Nelson can be better seen here as well as hanging decoys by Dan Nelson (Jim Nelson's brother).

* Point of interest: Jim Anderson's late father Roy also carved fish decoys and an example appears in "The Fish Decoy Vol. II" by Art Kimball.
Jim's uncles are carvers Jim, Al and Dan Nelson of Cadillac. *
